Subject: So excited you're coming!
Hi Mia!
I just heard the news and I can't tell you how happy I am that you're coming to stay with us! It's been ages since we last saw each other and I've been counting down the days ever since Mum told me.
Our house is a three-bedroom semi-detached on a quiet street near the park. There's a big kitchen where we all gather in the evenings, and a cosy living room with the best sofa for film nights. My little brother Lucas and my parents live here too — Lucas is eight now and absolutely obsessed with football, so be prepared!
As for sleeping, you'll be sharing my room. I've already moved my desk to make space for the camp bed. I hope that's okay — but honestly, it'll be like one long sleepover!
I cannot wait to see you!
Love,
Jamie
