Hello! My name is Sofia. I am 14 years old and I am from Spain. Welcome to our English class! Today, we meet new classmates from different countries. My friend Marco is here too. He is 15 and he is from Italy. We study English together three times a week. Class starts at 9 o’clock on Monday, Wednesday, and Friday. What is your name? How old are you? Where are you from? Please tell us about yourself! We are happy to meet you.

Your English teacher has given you a classmate’s email. Their name is Alex, and they are new to your class. Alex wrote: ‘Hi! I’m Alex. I’m 14 years old. I’m from Canada. What about you?’ Now you reply with your own information.
You should address:
- Greet Alex with ‘Hi Alex,’
- Give your name, age, and nationality
- Close with ‘Take care,’ or ‘See you soon,’
Plan:
Introduction: Open the email with a friendly greeting.
Body: Tell Alex your name, age, and where you are from. Use ‘I am’ or contractions (I’m).
Conclusion: End politely with ‘Take care,’ or ‘See you soon,’
