Maya's First Day at School
Maya is nine years old. She goes to Lincoln School. Her school day starts at 8:30 in the morning. Maya has many classes every day. On Monday, she has English at 9 o'clock. Then she has Math at 10 o'clock in Room 12. After that, she has Science in the laboratory. At 12 o'clock, Maya eats lunch in the school cafeteria with her friend Tom. In the afternoon, she has Art and Physical Education. Maya loves Art class because she draws pictures. The school day ends at 3 o'clock. Maya carries her books in a red backpack. She is very happy at Lincoln School.

Your English teacher is creating a class book about students' school lives. She asks each student to write a short paragraph about themselves at school. Write about your name, your favorite school subject, and where you are during the school day.
You should address:
- Your name and that you are a student
- Your favorite school subject
- One place in your school where you study or spend time
Plan:
Introduction: Write your name and say you are a student at your school.
Body: Write about your favorite subject and why you like it (or just name it).
Conclusion: Say where you are during the school day (classroom, library, playground).
