How to play

1. Choose a topic from the dropdown above (or leave it on All topics for a mix).
2. Read the clue — by default it’s a definition, but you can switch the Hint setting to translation or both.
3. Look at the blank squares — each one is a letter in the hidden word.
4. Click letters on the keyboard below to guess. Correct letters fill in the word; wrong letters are crossed out.
5. You have 6 wrong guesses per word — use them wisely. Watch the counter shrink with each miss.
6. Solve the word before you run out of guesses to score points. Faster solves with fewer wrong letters earn more.
7. Stuck? Click Skip to move to the next word — you’ll lose points but keep your streak going.
8. Finished the round? Click New words for a fresh set of B2 vocabulary.

Tip: when you see the definition, try to predict the first letter before clicking anything. This trains the recall muscle that exam writing tasks rely on.
