Writing Task
Your school magazine is publishing a debate on diet and health. The editors have asked students to write a balanced article exploring whether it would be better if everyone became vegetarian. You should consider both the advantages and disadvantages of a vegetarian lifestyle, and reach a conclusion based on your analysis. You should address:
  • Present at least one argument in favour (health, environment, or ethics)
  • Present at least one argument against (nutrition, practicality, or cost)
  • Use contrast linkers to balance both sides effectively
  • Include B2 vocabulary related to diet, ethics, or the environment
  • End with a clear, personal conclusion on the issue
